From 2013 to 2014

As I lay in my bed (and this is the correct usage of lay versus lie for other writers out there) at 6 am, unable to sleep, I started thinking about the year that passed.
2013 was a full year for me, but mainly the second half. I found an artist and started work on my comic book and my first and second significant relationships.
On the other hand, I still have a million classes until I get my degree (don’t try to figure how Greek colleges work) and because of fiscal issues I had to stop going to the gym and I now have the curves to show for it.
I was watching SNL last week and there was that funny song about resolutions, which got me thinking. Why are we alway giving up so easily? Why do I need immediate results to keep my interest on something?
All these things circling around in my head made me want to write something and since I haven’t posted anything in ages (my Tumblr has basically been a gif showroom) here we are!
So, resolution revolution! My first exam break is a week from now. That’s when I’ll be returning to the gym, as well as finishing the scrip for the second issue of my comic book. More social media engagement and the second SuperMOOC which I’ve been waiting for ages! Finally, I want to expand into other mediums as well.
So, let’s see how many of these I’ll be able to cross off in 12 months.
PS. No more gif bombing! Only for special occasions.

Dad:
Why do you think they do that?
Girl: Because the companies who make these try to trick the girls into buying the pink stuff instead of stuff boys want to buy.

Watched Tina Fey make a cupcake sandwich on 30 Rock last night. Did it today and it changed my life.
